Blue Superfeet Insoles, one step up from Black

These premium insoles are designed to provide support and alignment. More than simply adding a layer of gel or foam these inserts feature a rigid plastic cup extending from the heel to mid arch similar to many high end orthotics.

Superfeet come in six flavors as follows:

  • Black – Low volume, designed for dress shoes and those with flat feet
  • Blue – Medium volume, a step up in arch support
  • Green – Regular volume, the standard
  • Pink – Women’s specific, equivalent to Green but with added padding and shape for active use
  • Orange – Men’s specific, equivalent to Green but with added padding and shape for active use

I recommend visiting REI or some other outlet that sells Superfeet then laying out several colors so you can stand in each one and feel it out. When you feel each insole remember that it should not be pushing directly into your arch, that is potentially harmful. You should feel a slight push near the start of your arch on the inside near the heel (watch the video below for more information).

Superfeet come in many different sizes and are also trimmable to fit specific shoes. If you like the outer design of a shoe but it just doesn’t feel supportive, Superfeet can completely change how the shoe feels (I have done this with a pair of low end Vasque running shoes).
